apartments - Conditions of Hire
Note that these conditions are applicable to regular holiday and short term lets. Our corporate lets are subject to different conditions. Please ask for details.
Deposit:
A deposit of £100 per week booked is payable at the time of booking. A
booking form detailing these conditions must be completed and signed at the
same time.
Balance of Hire: Once a
booking confirmation has been issued the hirer is responsible for the total
hire charge. This amount, less the deposit is due NOT LATER than the first
day of hire.
Cancellation: In the event
of cancellation the balance of the hire charge remains due unless the
planned arrival date is at least four weeks from the date of cancellation or
unless it is possible to re-let the apartment. The deposit is not normally
repayable. Hirers are strongly advised to effect holiday insurance to cover
the possibility of illness etc preventing them from taking up their booking.
Occupation and Departure:
Apartments should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. The normal
time of occupation is between 2pm and 4pm on the first day of hire.
Number of persons: The
apartment may be occupied by the number of persons indicated. One bedroom
flat: 2 persons, Two bedroom flat: 4 persons. An additional change of £50
per person per week will be made where it is possible to accommodate more
than the stated number by use of a blow-up bed.
Hirer's responsibilities:
The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to make good any
damage except where the damage arises from fair wear and tear. Losses or
damage should be reported without delay. All equipment must be left in a
clean condition.
Liability: The owner
accepts no liability for loss of, or damage to, the hirer's property,
baggage etc except where there is a legal liability on the part of the
owner.
Pets: We accept dogs
and cats. A charge of £25 per week is payable per pet.
