A61 from Skipton (via A59) and Ripon

• Get to the roundabout just North of Harrogate town centre, where the A59 (Skipton to Knaresborough Road) crosses the A61(Ripon to Harrogate Road):
• Go south towards Harrogate on the A61 following the signs to the town centre. You will pass the Hydro Leisure Centre on your right hand side just before you go up a small hill and not long afterwards, as you come down the other side of the hill, the Harrogate International Conference Centre will be on your left hand side. Keep in the right hand lane as you descend the hill.
• You will reach some traffic lights at this point, where your only option is to go either left onto Kings Road or right onto Crescent Road. Take the right turn and follow the road. It will go off to the left and will take you up to a roundabout. Take the second exit off the roundabout, (straight ahead). You are now on Cold Bath Road.
• Take the first exit to the left, the Esplanade, then the first exit to the right, St Mary's Walk. Then take the first exit to the right again, and you are now on St Mary's Avenue. We are halfway up the left hand side, at Number 15.

A59 from A1 Junction 47 (North and South)

• Note that if you follow the signs to Harrogate from the A1 you will come into Harrogate on the A661 (Wetherby Road) which you will join just south of the Great Yorkshire Showground (bypassing Knaresborough).
• You will reach a roundabout, with the A59 to Knaresborough and the Harrogate District Hospital to your right (the Empress Roundabout). Take the road to the left, following the signs to the town centre. Keep an eye on the road markings as you will have to move into the right hand lane ready for the next roundabout.
• When you reach the next roundabout (Prince of Wales roundabout), Leeds is signposted to your left. Take the road to the right, again following the signs to the town centre. You are now on the A61 Ripon Road.
• Carry on down this road past a couple of sets of traffic lights. Take a left hand turn down Montpellier Hill. Once you go over a pedestrian crossing towards the foot of the hill take the next turning to your left (before the roundabout). You are now on St Mary's Walk.
• Go straight over the small crossroads and then take the next turning on your right which is St Mary's Avenue. We are halfway up the left hand side.
   

A61 from Leeds; Leeds Bradford Airport and M62 (Manchester Airport)

• The A61 Leeds / Harrogate road will bring you straight into the town centre. You will reach a large roundabout (called the Prince of Wales Roundabout). Knaresborough/Wetherby will be signposted to your right. Go straight over (Comet is on your right hand side). You are now on the A61 Ripon Road.
• Carry on down this road past a couple of sets of traffic lights. Take a left hand turn down Montpellier Hill. Once you go over a pedestrian crossing towards the foot of the hill take the next turning to your left (before the roundabout). You are now on St Mary's Walk.
• Go over the small crossroads and then take the next turning on your right which is St Mary's Avenue. We are halfway up the left hand side.
